Chinguli is a small developed camp of five pitches spread along the bank of the Runde River, a few kilometres upstream of the Chilojo Cliffs. That position is its main appeal: it is the serviced camp nearest the cliffs, so you can be at the viewpoints for the early light or back by the river for sundowners without the two-hour drive from headquarters. Pitches overlook the broad sandy riverbed and its pools, where elephants and plains game come down to drink, and with only five sites it stays quiet. Permit holders may fish from camp, catch-and-release. It is reached on the main gravel road from Chipinda Pools; there are no shops in the park, so arrive stocked with food, fuel and drinking water.

Maintained gravel primary road; a high-clearance vehicle is needed in the dry season and a high-clearance 4x4 in the wet. Max two vehicles per pitch. Caravans and trailers are limited, so ask reservations first.
Enter at Chipinda Pools gate (about an hour from Chiredzi via the Ngundu-Tanganda road), then follow the main road east along the Runde towards the Chilojo Cliffs.
