ZimParks lakeshore camping at Sebakwe Dam, one of Zimbabwe's largest inland lakes, in msasa woodland east of the Great Dyke.
Park conservation fees are extra, paid at the gate.
A quiet ZimParks lake camp for anglers and boaters, with game in the surrounding woodland. Basic park facilities and a long drive back to shops are the trade-offs.
Sebakwe Recreational Park surrounds the lake behind Sebakwe Dam, whose wall was raised in 1981 to 47 m, flooding about 2,600 ha where the Sebakwe River cuts through the Great Dyke. Camping is along the lakeshore, and days revolve around fishing and boating, with fish eagles over the water and klipspringer, rock hyrax and baboons on the rocky ground; zebra, giraffe, kudu, sable and impala can be found on drives in the msasa woodland. The park is reached from Kwekwe along the Mvuma road, 43.6 km of tar and then a short access road to the gate. The gate is open 06:00 to 18:00 and the nearest shops are back in Kwekwe, so arrive in daylight with supplies.

Tarred Kwekwe–Mvuma road, then a short park access road to the gate. Gate open 06:00–18:00 every day.
From Kwekwe take the Mvuma road; after 43.6 km of tar turn left (north) towards the park; the entrance gate is at about 51.9 km from Kwekwe. From Mvuma, take the A17 just south of town for 9.6 km, turn right onto the Kwekwe road for 56.4 km, then right for 8.3 km to the gate.
