About
This small lodge and campsite stands on the south bank of the Kabompo River, with remote West Lunga National Park on the far side of the water. Its chalets have verandas facing the river and the park, and the attraction here is the quiet: river views, the birdlife of the Kabompo and West Lunga rivers, and very few other visitors. It lies deep in the bush of Mufumbwe District, more than 50 km in a straight line from the nearest shops and fuel, so arrive with food, fuel and drinking water for your whole stay. Phone ahead to check that the camp is open and how best to reach it.
