White Sands sits on the bank of the Okavango at Popa Falls near Divundu, where the river breaks over a series of rapids; the falls are best seen from the property itself. The campsites are private lawns under tall trees a few steps from the water, alongside a handful of chalets and a riverside deck and restaurant. Hippo, crocodile and a long bird list (including Pel's fishing owl) draw nature lovers, and it is family friendly. Sunset cruises, fishing and game drives into Mahango are booked on site.
