A family farm camp just off the B1, halfway between Okahandja and Otjiwarongo, with grassy, shaded pitches in the bushveld.
A simple, family-run farm camp on the B1 that works best as a halfway break between Okahandja and Otjiwarongo. Grassy, shaded pitches and quiet bushveld, but it is a stopover rather than a place to linger.
Wewelsburg is a family farm on the B1 almost exactly halfway between Okahandja and Otjiwarongo, which makes it a natural break on the long drive north to Etosha or the Waterberg. The camp sits by the farmyard about half a kilometre off the highway, with tents pitched on grass, shaded sites and the Otjikuberg hill rising just to the south. Around it the country turns to thornveld and woodland savannah at about 1,400 m, where warthog, kudu and plenty of birds are seen along the road. It is a simple family-run camp and a stopover rather than a destination; as a small farm camp it is worth phoning ahead.
