UrbanCamp is a green pocket of big shade trees in central Windhoek, a short walk from the city centre, Joe's Beerhouse and other restaurants. A small shopping centre nearby has a supermarket, pharmacy, bank and 24-hour fuel station, which makes it a practical first or last night for stocking up, sorting out paperwork or meeting a rental vehicle. Expect town rather than bush: it is convenient rather than quiet, with a beer garden on site.
