About
Tsauchab River Camp lies on Urikos, a 7,127 ha former karakul farm ringed by the Tsaris and Naukluft mountains, about 70 km from Sesriem and 40 km from the Naukluft section of the park. Its campsites are scattered along some 15 km of the Tsauchab River under large trees, far enough apart to feel private. Campers can walk the farm's marked trails, from a short wild fig stroll past natural springs to a 21 km mountain hike, or drive the Klipspringer 4x4 trail. It suits self-drivers wanting a quiet, scenic base between Sossusvlei and the Naukluft.
