A simple, community-run bush camp where the guided walks and cultural evenings matter more than comfort. Facilities are very basic while renovation continues, so bring everything you need.
About
Treesleeper is a community-based camp run with the Hai||om people of Tsintsabis village, in the bush north of Tsumeb and not far from Etosha. After years of closure it has reopened with volunteer help, and for now offers only basic ground or rooftop-tent camping with bucket showers and no running water or electricity, so come fully self-sufficient. The real reason to stay is the guided bushwalks, village tours and evening dancing by the fire, and a nearby waterhole draws small game.
