A small, self-contained campsite just inside the Sesriem gate, quieter than the main campground next door. Its big advantage is early access to the Sossusvlei dunes.
Oshana is a small campsite of about ten individual sites just inside the Namib-Naukluft gates at Sesriem, on the road to Sossusvlei. Being inside the gate means you can head for the dunes at first light, before the day visitors arrive. Each site is self-contained under its own wooden pergola, which makes it quieter and more private than the big campground next door, whose pool, restaurant and shop campers may use about 1 km away. Hot water is solar-heated and is best in the afternoon and evening.
