Ongongo is a small camp of nine sites in a narrow canyon near Warmquelle, about 25 km south of Sesfontein. The draw is the waterfall tumbling into a natural pool and a warm spring that stays swimmable all year, and guided walks lead up the creek to the spring and on to the Warmquelle caves. The road in is rocky and slow: sedans cannot make it, and drivers of two-wheel-drive bakkies park at the top and carry their gear down. Fill up with fuel at Sesfontein or Palmwag.

About 6 km from Warmquelle, 25 km south of Sesfontein and about 90 km north of Palmwag on the C43. Fuel at Sesfontein and Palmwag.
