Not a campsite: Ongava Tented Camp reopened in February 2026 as Encounter by Ongava, a small, unfenced luxury camp of about nine safari tents in a valley below a dolomite hill deep in the private Ongava Game Reserve, on Etosha's southern boundary. Its deck and pool look over a floodlit waterhole, and guests come for walking safaris, white rhino tracking on foot, night drives and outings into Etosha. It sells all-inclusive or full-board stays in tents only; there are no camping pitches, so self-drive campers need to look to the campsites in and around Etosha.
