About
A small community-run campsite next to the Ovahimba Living Museum, where Himba families show traditional crafts and daily life through booked programmes. It lies in the Kunene region between Opuwo and Epupa Falls, reached on gravel; a 4x4 is not required but is advisable in the rainy months from December to April. There is no booking: the camp has room for several groups, and a call or message ahead helps if you arrive in a convoy. Everything, including camping, is paid in cash.

Getting there
No 4x4 needed for self-drivers, but one is recommended in the Kunene region, especially December to April when rain makes roads harder.
