About
Ombu's campsites sit at a cultural village devoted to Ovaherero heritage, a short drive off the B1 on the Okonjima road, roughly halfway between Windhoek and Etosha. The five sites are spread well apart, so each feels private, and every one has its own bathroom, with the first site set up for larger groups. Guided tours of the village explain local customs, housing and beliefs. The camp is about 11.5 km off the B1, and the nearest fuel and shops are about 35 km away.
