A farm camp set in the rugged Namus Mountains south-east of Rosh Pinah. It suits travellers wanting quiet desert scenery with hiking and 4x4 routes on the doorstep.
Namuskluft is a farm in the Namus Mountains in the Succulent Karoo, about 16 km from the mining town of Rosh Pinah. The camp is a base for hiking, guided or self-drive 4x4 routes through rocky mountain country, birdwatching and visits to San rock art. Rosh Pinah has fuel and shops, and the Orange River and Ai-Ais/Richtersveld park are within reach. Phone ahead, as the farm has not always been open.
