A thatched lodge with an adjoining camping area on the Okavango River east of Rundu. It is quiet and rural, with river cruises and community tours on offer.
About
The camping area sits next to n'Kwazi Lodge on the Namibian bank of the Okavango, about 21 km east of Rundu, in a quiet rural setting of palms and big trees. The last stretch is gravel and then a sandy forest track, normally fine for ordinary cars, but avoid driving it at night. Campers can join the lodge's sundowner cruises, guided community tours and traditional dance evenings. The area is malarial and the river has crocodiles, so keep well back from the water's edge.
