A small, personal camp on the Kwando floodplain run by its owners, with river trips from the doorstep. It makes a calm base for the parks of the Zambezi Region.
About
A small, quiet camp in the Mayuni Conservancy on the edge of the Kwando floodplain, started in 2016 by a couple who were long-time campers themselves. The six sites sit under large trees; only three are close to the water, so ask for one of those when booking. Boat cruises, fishing, mokoro trips and game drives into the nearby parks run from the camp, and home-cooked breakfast and dinner can be ordered in advance. It is an easy stop on the B8 between Rundu and Katima Mulilo.

Getting there
Last stretch is about 1 km of gravel off the C49.
From Rundu about 400 km east on the B8 towards Katima Mulilo. At Kongola turn right onto the C49 and drive about 8.5 km to the Mukolo Camp turn-off on the right, then about 1 km of gravel road and turn right at the Mukolo Camp sign.
