An outlying camp on a working guest farm in the Tiras Mountains, suited to campers wanting space and silence on the road between Aus and Helmeringhausen. The farm's trails and rock scenery are the draw.
This is one of Farm Tiras's outlying camps, set among granite outcrops on the Tiras plain below the Tiras Mountains at about 1,400 m. You check in at the farmhouse on the C13 and drive out to the camp, which is basic and back-to-nature, with no power and no drinking water on tap. The farm's private land has hiking and mountain-bike trails and 4x4 routes to rock formations. Not suitable for trailers or caravans; Helmeringhausen is about 45 km away.
