Lion's Den is an African-style guesthouse of thatched buildings and large gardens about 5 km outside Otjiwarongo, on the road north towards Etosha. Three campsites sit alongside the rooms, and campers can eat at the restaurant or join the evening boma fire. Town shops, fuel and the cheetah projects around Otjiwarongo are close by. It suits travellers wanting a simple, sociable stop rather than a bush setting; with so few pitches, book ahead.
