About
Kriess-se-Rus is one of the simple park campsites of the Namib section of Namib-Naukluft, a few pitches along a dry creek bed just off the C14 gravel road between Walvis Bay and the Kuiseb Pass. It makes a quiet overnight stop on the desert crossing, with nothing on site beyond a basic toilet. Bring all water, food and firewood, and buy the park permit in advance, as there is no office at the site.
