About
Jakkalsputz is a large Namibia Wildlife Resorts campsite of 99 sites on the rugged Atlantic coast just south of Henties Bay, popular with shore and boat anglers after kabeljou, galjoen and shark. The draw is the ocean itself, with sunsets over the water and the Cape Cross seal colony up the coast. There is no power at the sites, and water is sold by the litre at the kiosk, so bring drinking water and arrive self-sufficient. NWR says it opens only in December and January, so confirm dates before you go.
