About
Illofa sits on the flat clay banks where the dry Omaruru River meets the sea, about 2 km outside Henties Bay, and is built around surf anglers who come for the coast's fishing. Pitches are roomy and the beach is within walking distance, while the town's shops are a few minutes away. Expect the usual Skeleton Coast weather of fog, wind and cool evenings, and book well ahead for the December holidays, when the camp fills with fishing families.
