Campsite
Riverbank and bush campsites on the Hudup River beside the C19, 15 km east of Maltahöhe.
A small camp on the Hudup River near Maltahöhe, with riverbank sites and more private bush sites. There is no electricity, so it suits self-sufficient campers.
Hudup Camp lies on the banks of the Hudup River beside the C19, about 15 km east of Maltahöhe and 100 km west of Mariental, a green strip in otherwise desert-like country. Four sites are on the riverbank and share an ablution block, while three more are tucked into the bush with their own toilets for more privacy. None has electricity, so come self-sufficient; fuel is in Maltahöhe. It is a handy overnight stop on the way west towards Sossusvlei.
