About
Hoada sits among granite boulders and mopane trees in the Khoadi-Hoas Conservancy, about 75 km west of Kamanjab on the C40 gravel road and run by the community with Grootberg Lodge nearby. Six campsites, each with its own kitchen area and open-air shower and toilet, are tucked between the rocks, and a splash pool is set into the boulders. There is no shop, restaurant or Wi-Fi, and fuel is about 40 km away, so arrive stocked. Baboons visit, so keep food locked away.
