About
Hein's is one of the marked wild-camping sites of the Palmwag Concession, a huge private conservation area of basalt hills that holds most of the world's largest free-roaming black rhino population, along with desert elephant, lion and giraffe. It lies in the multi-use zone about 10 km north-west of Palmwag Lodge, so it suits a first night in the concession. There is nothing on site: bring water and firewood, take all rubbish out, and camp only at the marked site.
