A small privately run park on the riverside at Kaisosi, on the eastern edge of Rundu, that started out as a family picnic and play spot and now also takes campers with tents and caravans. Its draw is the setting by the Kavango: a green place to spend an afternoon by the water, fish or watch birds, with a playground that keeps children busy. It is only a short drive from the shops and fuel in Rundu, so it works as an easy town stop on the way to or from the Zambezi Region or Khaudum. Phone ahead to check that there is space for campers and what is provided, as it is used as a day park too.
