A family-run farm camp in the Khomas Hochland, close enough to Windhoek for a weekend but with real hill and gorge scenery. The private Mountain Camp and three riverside stands suit families, small groups and hikers who want quiet and space.
Farm Godeis is a working farm in the hills of the Khomas Hochland, an hour from Windhoek, with hiking and mountain-bike trails across its slopes. The Mountain Camp is a single exclusive site built into the rocks above Lovebird Gorge and its small waterhole, while three Riverside Camps sit under big acacias along the Otjimpaue riverbed, each with its own bathroom and plunge pool. A separate Adventure Camp takes groups of ten or more. The last 50 km is gravel, and the Mountain Camp's steep path does not suit anyone with limited mobility.

About 50 km of gravel; an SUV or vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended, the final 4 km is a jeep track.
From Windhoek take the C28 west towards Daan Viljoen for 30 km, turn right onto the D1958 for 19 km, then right onto the D1420 for 12 km. Turn right at the green Farm Godeis sign and follow the jeep track 4 km to the house.
