A quiet five-site campground on the Etusis game reserve in the Otjipatera Mountains, run apart from the lodge. It suits self-sufficient campers between Windhoek and the coast who want a farm-reserve night off the main road.
Etusis Lodge runs this small campground on the far side of its 21,000 ha game reserve in the Otjipatera Mountains, about 20 km from the lodge itself. The five sites sit under shade nets, each with its own braai, and share one central shower and toilet block. Campers are welcomed at a reception about a kilometre before the camp. Lodge facilities are not included for campers, though meals can be arranged by phoning ahead, so come self-sufficient.

Gravel farm roads; in the rainy season (January to April) ask the lodge about road conditions.
From Karibib take the C32 south towards the Namib-Naukluft. The campsite is reached on the same road as Etusis Lodge but by turning left off the C32 and following the signs; reception is about 1 km before the campsite.
