Not a campsite: Desert Camp is a Taleni Africa property of 28 air-conditioned self-catering units, each with a kitchenette, braai and parking, about 5 km before the Sesriem gate to Sossusvlei. It sits among old camel thorn trees with views over grass plains and the Naukluft mountains, with a bar, pool and two group bomas, and meals at nearby Sossusvlei Lodge. There are no camping pitches; campers should look at the campsites around Sesriem instead.
