It is a rustic, remote spot where the river is the focus, and the camp runs Himba village visits, fishing, birding and sunset crocodile-spotting outings in an area known for localised bird species. Fuel is close to 50 km away and other supplies further, so arrive stocked. Site power is solar, enough for a fridge and lights but not kettles or heaters at night.
