Family-run farm camp and fuel stop where the C27 meets the D826, with private stands and a separate Mountain Camp by the pool.
A friendly farm stop on the southern gravel roads, where the fuel, bakery and shop matter as much as the camping. The Mountain Camp gives a quieter night away from the road.
Betta is a long-established farm stop in the hills between Maltahöhe, Helmeringhausen and Sossusvlei, about 20 km from Duwisib Castle, best known to travellers for its fuel station, bakery and shop on a long gravel route. Campers choose between self-catering stands on the main ground, each with its own viewpoint, and the quieter Mountain Camp about 1.5 km away across the road, where basic sites share a lapa and pool. A bistro-style restaurant serves meals during the day and evening.

From Maltahöhe: 36 km on the C14 towards Helmeringhausen, then the D824 for 11 km, the D831 for 16 km and the D826 for 37 km to Betta. From Aus: 105 km on the C13 gravel road, turn onto the C27 before Helmeringhausen and drive 100 km to Betta.
