Two isolated pitches beside the Swart Pan waterhole in the remote Kaa area of the Botswana Kgalagadi; strictly self-sufficient.
Swartpan lies in the remote Kaa section in the north of the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, with just two pitches at a waterhole about 77 km from the park's northern Kaa entrance. It sees few visitors and offers very little beyond the site itself, so it suits experienced, fully self-sufficient travellers who want a waterhole largely to themselves. The Botswana side is open to 4x4 vehicles only because of its sandy tracks.
