Not a campsite: this point is Shinde Camp, a fly-in safari camp run by Ker & Downey Botswana on a palm island at the edge of the permanent Shinde Lagoon, in a private concession in the northern Okavango Delta. It has seven en-suite safari tents and a two-bedroom family tent, rebuilt in 2020, and stays are sold as full safari packages with game and night drives, motorboat and mokoro trips, guided walks and fishing. Guests arrive by light aircraft at Shinde airstrip, about 20 minutes' drive from camp. There are no pitches for self-drive campers.
