A low-cost place to stay inside Khwai village itself, this small camp puts you a short drive from Moremi's North Gate and the open Khwai community concession, where visitors often find wildlife moving close to the village, wild dogs included. It is run simply, with friendly local staff and guides, and a coffee shop on site. Expect the basics rather than comfort. The tracks are sandy, a river crossing on the way in needs a 4x4 and can flood after rain, and phone signal is poor. Ask when booking whether you are taking a pitch for your own tent or one of the camp's basic tents.
