About
The campsite sits just inside the entrance of Nata Bird Sanctuary, a community conservancy on the northern edge of Sua Pan in the Makgadikgadi, run by four local villages that share its income. After good rains the pan fills and can draw huge numbers of flamingos, while in dry years it may be quiet. A lookout platform gives views over the pans. Payment is in cash, and the gate may be unmanned, so phone ahead before relying on it.
