Bush camp
Two shaded DWNP pitches in bush near Monamodi Pan, just 7 km inside the Mabuasehube east gate.
Park conservation fees are extra, paid at the gate.
A shaded public pitch beside Monamodi Pan, close enough to the gate to reach easily yet with game on the pan. It suits campers who want a pan setting without a long drive into the reserve.
Monamodi has two public pitches about 300 m apart in bush near Monamodi Pan, roughly 7 km inside the Mabuasehube east gate, which makes it a handy first or last night in the section. Neither has a proper pan view: from site 1 you can see the pan from a vehicle roof, while site 2 has no view but is better equipped, with an A-frame shelter among shade trees and the only toilet and shower. Borehole water is salty and unreliable, so bring all your drinking water.
