MGR8 is one of the campsites in Moremi Game Reserve that HATAB, Botswana's tourism industry association, manages for its registered mobile safari operators, in the Xakanaxa area of the reserve's north-east. It cannot be booked by self-drive travellers: you can only stay here as a guest on an operator-run mobile safari, and the sites are often reserved months or years ahead. Like the rest of Moremi it is unfenced wilderness reached on deep-sand tracks.
