A modest riverside camp on the Shorobe side of Maun that works as a calm staging post for Delta and Moremi trips. Its river-front pitches are the draw; everything else is basic.
About
A simple, quiet camp on the bank of the Thamalakane River about 7 km from Maun along the Shorobe road, handy for stocking up before Moremi or the Delta. Half the pitches face the river and the rest sit in a rustic, well-shaded garden at the back, alongside a few basic chalets. It is run by the team behind the nearby Old Bridge Backpackers, and suits overlanders wanting a calmer base than the town-centre camps; check current rates and availability before arriving.
