Remote, facility-free DWNP pitch midway on the Nossob-Bosobogolo sand track across the heart of the Kgalagadi
Matopi's two pitches lie about 10 km apart, roughly halfway along the Nossob-Bosobogolo trail, the sand track that crosses the middle of the Kgalagadi between the Nossob side and Mabuasehube, which makes them among the most isolated campsites in Botswana. They exist to split the five-to-nine-hour crossing over two days. There are no facilities of any kind, so bring all water, fuel and firewood, and carry everything out again.
