Community camp
Village-owned camp in the Sankuyo concession on the road to Moremi South Gate, with game drives in bush unfenced from the reserve.
A community-run camp on the approach to Moremi South Gate, where the concession's game moves freely across the unfenced boundary. A good-value staging post for self-drivers that keeps tourism income in Sankuyo village.
Kaziikini is owned and staffed by the people of Sankuyo village through their trust, so a night here supports the community directly. It lies in the NG34 concession about 62 km from Maun and 26 km short of Moremi's South Gate, with no fence between the concession and the reserve, so elephant, giraffe and predators pass through. It suits self-drivers wanting a base before or after Moremi, with escorted self-drive game drives, mokoro trips and a cultural village nearby. Book in writing ahead of time.
