Hyena's Howl is a low-key camp with a few cabins, run alongside the Vanthuyne Ridge research station near Ivuvwe and Parakarungu in the Chobe Enclave, the strip of village and farmland between Chobe National Park and the Chobe River border with Namibia. It lies well off the main tourist routes, roughly 40 km from the nearest fuel, and suits self-sufficient travellers looking for a quiet night away from Kasane.
