Guma Lagoon Camp sits on a lagoon off the Okavango Panhandle in the north-west of the Delta, near Etsha 13, and is best known for its fishing and mokoro trips into the Delta channels. With only seven campsites, each with its own ablution block, it feels private and unhurried. The final approach is thick sand that needs low range and lowered tyre pressure, and it can flood from April to July; follow the signs rather than GPS. Without a 4x4, arrange a transfer from Etsha 13 in advance.

From Maun drive 101 km toward Ghanzi, turn right at Sehitwa toward Shakawe, pass Etsha 6, turn into Etsha 13 and follow camp signs; 280 km from Maun. Fuel at Gumare (48 km south) and Etsha 6.
