About
Kaa Pan lies in the KD2 community concession run by the Qhaa Qhing Conservation Trust of Zutshwa, about 13 km short of the Kaa entrance to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, and is one of only two designated camps on the transit track. It is completely unserviced, so it suits self-sufficient 4x4 travellers who arrive too late for the gate or want a night outside the park. Lions move through the area. Camping must be paid for in Zutshwa before setting off, and patrols check permits.
