A convenient, sociable base rather than a wilderness camp. Guests praise the staff, atmosphere and food, but some find it noisy, busy and a little impersonal, and the price sits near the Botswana average.
A family-run camp about 12 km from Maun on the road into Moremi, which has been a staging post for self-drive and overland travellers heading into the Delta for around twenty years. Pitches are shaded, the bar and restaurant make it sociable, and the same family runs mobile safaris and mokoro trips, so many people use it as the first or last night of a trip. Expect it to be lively and busy in peak season rather than quiet. The entrance road is rough, and very long trailers or caravans may find it tight.
